Top Ships (Couples) That Didn't Make It

Okay, I'm bored in the house, and I'm in the house bored. I have surrendered my life to Tik Tok, and Tumblr. With that, I have finally thought of new content and have some new ideas. Since I am in the Tumblr mood, I thought "What's a ship post I haven't done yet? The ones that didn't make it!"

I have talked about some of these before and I am happy that most of my ships have a good ending but some breakup or they die, and it hurts my soul. 

Here are the top ships that didn't make it. 

Still waiting for this one to happen.

25. Sidney and Charlotte (Sanditon)

My period drama loving heart. I was so surprised that they didn't have a happy ending since it's a Jane Austen adaptation. I wish for season two, so they can have a better ending. 

24. Bonnie and Enzo (The Vampire Diaries)

Why couldn't they give this girl a dang break? She has gone through so much heartache, and this one hurts so much. I will never forgive what Stephan did to him and Bonnie. Still mad to this day. 

23. Leo and April (Chasing Life)

I forgot how sad this one is. She was waiting to die or get worse, and then out of the blue, he dies because his cancer came back. I wish these two just had more time. 

22. Abigail and Sammy (Dance Academy) 

I love enemies to lovers ships, and this one is a classic one that ends in tragedy. I was so mad when they killed him off right after they kissed and made up. Never really got back into the show after that.

21. Alfred and Drummond (Victoria)

I knew this would end in tragedy. With them being men that loved each other in the 1800s, I knew it wouldn't last, but having Drummond shot just really hurt. They just wanted more time. 

20. Hayley and Elijah (The Originals)

Why is it always the vampire shows that end in sadness? She should not have died and I am more mad for her daughter. To me, they are together in the afterlife, living it up.

19. Rory and Jess (Gilmore Girls)

I have too many mixed feelings about this one. During their relationship, I see the problems and think they would be great in the other series together. However, she does not deserve this bean and you will know why later. 

18. Elio and Oliver (Call Me By Your Name)

I know there are so many problems with this one, but it just makes me cry every time I see Elio crying at the fireplace. 

17. Samantha and Smith (Sex and the City)

Mad about still, but I get how she wanted her life just for her. I wish they could have worked it out.

16. Missandei and Greyworm (Game of Thrones)

The first couple of GoT. I swear, I thought he was going to die, and then they switched it on us. Him watching her get beheaded is so sad, and I just want happiness for him. Also mad that her death was the downfall of the true Queen. 

15. JT and Liberty (Degrassi: Next Generation) 

Right as they are going to get back together, he gets stabbed and dies. One of the hardest character deaths in a teen show. 

14. Mary and Matthew (Downton Abbey)

This season just wanted to rip out our dang hearts. I was still recovering from another death and this happens right after they have their first child. Such a sad ending to their love story. I am happy she found love again, but still this makes me sad. 

13. Sonny and Chad (Sonny With a Chance)

I just rewatched this show, and my love for this ship has been reborn. Still sad that they didn't make up at the end of the show, and it just makes us wonder. In my mind, they would get back together. 

12. Arya and Gendry (Game of Thrones)

They were so close. I know she wanted to go off on her own, but man does it make me sad. I think after she does her travels, she goes back to him and starts a life. I know Arya is Arya, but I'm still sad in some ways.

11. Jackie and Hyde (That 70s Show)

Literally the perfect enemies to lovers. The show went downhill before Eric left and it was when these two broke up. They made each other better, and I am still upset she ended up with Fez. 

We are hitting the top ten, and these ones make me very mad and want to cry. 

10. Jon and Ygritte (Game of Thrones)

This is why we don't ship on GoT because it all ends in sadness. Her death is just heartbreaking since he broke his oath for her. I am just happy that these two are happy in real life since they met on the set and are now married. 

9. Rory and Logan (Gilmore Girls)

They are perfect for each other. The way she changed once she got to college made her go downhill. She doesn't deserve Jess, and she should have said yes to Logan's proposal, so all the things that happen in the sequel didn't happen. 

8. Maggie and Glenn (The Walking Dead)

I stopped watching the show after this, so I am still bitter. Such a jaw-dropping scene and it hurts still. Their child will never know their father, and it makes me so sad.

7. Brienne and Jaime (Game of Thrones)

I am still so mad, and it's been a year. We finally get them to be happy together and they reverse his development and make him go back to Cersei! I won't stand for that! She is left heartbroken and begs him to stay, and he just dies with his sister in the most pathetic way. No, not okay!

6. Tara and Jax (Sons of Anarchy)

I am just "Aghhhhhhhhhhh!" The last two seasons just hurt so dang much, and once his hand got messed up, it went all downhill. From first her death by his own mother and then to his, I am just sad. Now their children will never know them and I don't like that. 

5. Robin and Barney (How I Met Your Mother)

They ruined this show in the final episode. Why have the whole last season about their wedding just to have a time jump in the finale to them get divorced and her ending up with Ted??? I do not want it and I do not need it. They were happy. 

4. Klaus and Cami (The Originals)

I can still remember my emotions when she died and then died for real after turning into a vampire. I am sad thinking these two never really had any time. Like Elijah and Hayley, I hope these two are happy together in the afterlife, looking down at Hope. 

3. Ethan and Vanessa (Penny Dreadful)

The whole series and she still doesn't get a happy ending. Having Ethan be the one to end her suffering is just so sad. I just watch the dream sequence she has of them with a family over and over again. 

2. Sybil and Tom (Downton Abbey)

As I have stated before, this is the hardest character death to hit me. The movie shows him finally moving on which I am happy for him, but the way she died just makes me want to crawl into a ball and cry. 

1. Sam and Freddie (iCarly)

It's almost been ten years since then got together and broke up, and I am still so sassy over it. In my happy world, they got back together in the future and are happy because Seddie will win. They are one of my top ships of all time, so I can still dream.
