Canyon Lands National Park

After dropping my phone in Capitol Reef, I was very scared of heights. We drove the 2 hours to Moab and it was great to be back in the city. Canyon Lands is a less visited national park and Madison's favorite so far.

The first day, which was stupid hot, we hiked in the Needles district. It was so interesting to see the Island in the Sky and it was breathtaking. We hiked the Mesa Arch and the Grand View Point. I was staying way clear of the cliffs.

With the heat and the forest fire nearby, it did make the hikes a lot harder. After we went vintage shopping and shopped around downtown.

The next day was even hotter at 105 degrees. This time we went to the other side of the park, the Needles District. A lot more secluded and not as many people. We did easy hikes as the heat was way too much. I chilled under a rock for quite a bit.

After those two days, we were exhausted. The flight back to Atl was interesting since Salt Lake delayed us and we didn't get there till 2 am then 5am for home.

Overall it was an amazing trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
