Europe 2019: Pompeii

After Rome, we went south to Napels and then Pompeii. Napels reminded me of Detroit in a lot of ways and walking at eleven at night to our hostel was not fun. We saw a lot of crazy things. However, our hostel was really cool and we met some great locals.

Pompeii was one of my favorite days of the trip. Climbing the volcano wasn't fun since I only had Keds on, but the view was amazing. We also met some friends from Germany and Denmark and we even met up with them in Venice a day later. Seeing a historic burned city was sad but very interesting.
