Favorite "Finally!" / Will They, Won't They Couples

 The third in my different types of ships series is a category that I absolutely adore. The will they, won't they couples really hit hard. You wait for so long for them to realize they belong together, kiss, or finally become a couple. Since we usually have to wait more than one season, and sometimes until the end of the series, people tend to, and me especially, obsess over them more. Of course, as always, some of these ships can fit into other categories, and others can fit into this one, but I see these ships more in the specific categories they are in. 

Enjoy the "Finally!" couples. 

Honorable Mention: Deckerstar

They are gonna be on my list for another category, but I had to mention them here because it took 5 SEASONS for them to finally be in a relationship. The fans truly waited forever for that one. 

12. Leslie and Ben - Parks and Rec

The tension between these two is so great to see. They have to hide their feelings because they work together, and it's so satisfying to see them break the rules and try to be together. Their first kiss must have had fans screaming. 

11. Hopper and Joyce - Stranger Things

We are still waiting for this one. Their chemistry is so great and I cannot wait for them to get together. Side note: We all know he isn't dead, so I cannot wait to see her reaction. 

10. Robin and Starfire- Teen Titans

As a kid, I remember waiting for them to finally kiss or somehow get together. Not until the last episode, which was the Tokyo Movie, did we finally see them sharing a true kiss and them maybe being together. 

9. Robin and Barney - How I Met Your Mother

Seasons of tension and chemistry. With Barney falling for Robin, we saw his torment, and how she finally fell for him, too. Also, the proposal episode is still one of the best. 

8. Morwenna and Drake - Poldark

The amount of triumphs for this couple is so hard to count. To see them finally be happy, and together forever was very satisfying to watch as we prayed for them to be married. At least they did get a happy ending. 

7. Ethan and Vanessa - Penny Dreadful

I screamed when they finally kissed. The sexual tension they had from the very beginning had us in a loop. We still were wishing for them to finally be together and happy, only to bring us pain in the end. 

6. Klaus and Cami - The Originals

 

Waited 3 seasons for them to kiss. I screamed, jumped up and down, and was crying of happiness. Of course, it was ruined by the end of the episode and the end of the season but still was happy for about 15 minutes. 

5. Arya and Gendry - Game of Thrones

We all waited until the last season for them to reunite. We just wanted to see them be with each other, then we got the holy grail of a kiss and more scene. Of course, it was crushed yet again, because GOT does not place nice with our hearts. In my mind, she goes back to him when she is done with her adventures. 

4. Jane and Rafael - Jane the Virgin

 

A true will they, won't they couple. They were together and then not, they together again. Watching them go through so much was hard, but the growth was worth it. Having them be happy and finally getting married in the finale was worth it. 

3. Luke and Lorelei - Gilmore Girls

 

We had to wait till the end of the fourth season for them to finally kiss. Fans most likely screamed when this aired. Of course, then we had to wait even longer for them to finally get married in the revival. 

2. Nick and Jess - New Girl

After the first episode, we knew that they were gonna get together. The tension and chemistry were so strong, we just had to wait. At least it wasn't as long as other couples on this list, but we still had to wait for them to get back together and then married in the last two seasons. 

1. Bones and Booth - Bones

When I think of this category, my mind goes straight to them. We waited so long for them to finally see that they loved one another and get into a relationship. Season after season, we saw them get closer and closer with all their sexual tension and growth of them becoming so important for each other. I love this ship so much.
