Top Trends From NYFW Fall Ready To Wear 2018

New York has a lot of great trends on the runway this season. So many were brand new to us as opposed to others that have been a statement for multiple seasons. I picked some of of my personal favorites and ones I thought were a great trend to follow. Here are five trends to follow this season.

Sexy Romantic Life

Romantic styles has been on trend for a couple of seasons now, but for this Fall it upgraded to a new trend: sexy romantic. So many designers created this look where it still has a soft and gentle vibe but also an edge to them. You can be sexy while still being modest and I love that feeling the clothes create.

80s Power Shoulder

The 80s have been back in style recently and this season was homage to the powerful shoulder. With boxy coats and shirts all over the runway, we see why this trend is back. Besides the shape, even the colors are also impacting the trend making the 80s style cool again.

70s Glitter and Glam

Just like the 80s being back in style so is the 70s. From the silhouettes to the patterns of that decade, it is all over the runway. We get to see the bell bottom pants with velvet coats and suede jackets. Also we got silky dresses that had a strong disco vibe. Beautiful clothes that represent an unforgettable era.

Prints For Days

Patterns are everywhere. No one is afraid to mix it up with statement patterns that will catch anyone's eye. From blocking all the way to one pattern outfits, this trend is huge and it is going to stay for a while. You can get the classic leopard print or just a funky one that you have never seen before.

Holy Mauve

What a big color on the runway! Many designers decided to go for a soft mauve with their designs. From coats to dresses and even with pattern, this color was everywhere. It will flatter all types of people and it's a great color to go from Spring to Fall.

Which one is your favorite trend? I will see you guys on Friday for the best shows from Milan.
